MISSOULA, Mont. – The Carroll College Women's Soccer team dropped their first exhibition game to University of Montana this afternoon in Missoula by a final score of 7-0.
In their first action as Saints, freshmen goalkeepers Hattie Larson and Alexandra Moeller combined for 12 total saves. Larson, a Sandpoint, Idaho native, had seven saves. Moeller, a product of Rock Springs, Wyo., tallied the other five.
Leading the way for the Grizzlies with two goals was Taylor Stoeger, a senior from Green River, Wyo.
The Saints will return to the pitch on Saturday, September 4, for their season opener against Whitworth University in Spokane, Wash.
