YANKTON, S.D. -- Nikki Krueger, a junior from Kalispell, Mont., placed 1^st in the shot put with a throw of 14.12m at the NAIA National Indoor Track Meet. 
 
Krueger came into the meet with high expectations, after she took over the nation's number one spot at the DSU Blue Hawk Classic back in February. 
 
We will have more updates from the NAIA National Indoor Track & Field Meet later today as Carroll's athletes will be wrapping up competition.
