HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Women's Basketball team will face off with Montana Western at the PE Center Monday night at 7 p.m. for the Frontier Conference Championship.
 
In the semi-final round of the Frontier Conference Playoffs, Carroll took down MSU-Northern 76-49 to punch their ticket to the final. On the other side of the bracket, Montana Western traveled to Great Falls to upset Providence by a final score of 81-61.
 
Monday's championship game will mark the fifth time this season that the Saints and the Bulldogs have gone toe-to-toe. Back on the 16^th and 17^th of January, Western made the trip up to Helena for back-to-back games at the PE Center. The Saints were able to take care of business winning those two games 81-75 and 50-47. Then just last weekend, Carroll went down to Dillon to close out the Frontier Conference regular season with two games against the Bulldogs. The Saints won those two games as well, 63-55 and 70-59. 
 
Entering tonight's game, the Saints are 20-2 on the year and the Dawgs are 16-8. 
 
Danielle Wagner, a senior guard from Havre, Mont., is the leading scorer for the Saints this year averaging 15.36 points per game. Wagner scored a game high 20 points in the semi-final win over Northern.
 
For Western, their leading scorer is Brynley Fitzgerald, a junior forward from Dillon, Mont. Fitzgerald is averaging 16.86 points per game and scored a game high 22 points in their semi-final victory against Providence.
