WHITEFISH, Mont. – Garrett Kocab, a junior shot putter from Phelan, Calif., has been named the Frontier Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week. 

At the Stinger Open hosted by Black Hills State in Spearfish, S.D., he took first in the shot put with a throw of 15.04 meters. Kocab's throw was the best out of 20 participants in the event.
