DILLON, Mont. – The fifth-ranked Carroll Women's Basketball team will take on the Bulldogs of Montana Western in a rematch of last year's Frontier Conference title game in Dillon on Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Saints are currently 10-2 this season following a big win in their conference opener on Thursday night. They defeated the Skylights of MSU-Northern in convincing fashion by a final score of 82-40.

Leading the Saints in the scoring column this season is Danielle Wagner. The reigning Frontier Conference Player of the Week is averaging 17.5 points per game while shooting 53 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from three. On Thursday night, she led the way in the win over Northern with 20 points. Christine Denny and Jamie Pickens are also averaging double-figures early on this season.

Montana Western is off to a strong 7-1 start to their season with a 1-0 conference record. Saturday will mark their conference home opener, as they played at Montana Tech on Thursday night. The Bulldogs took down the Orediggers on their home floor, 83-65.

Despite losing Paige Holmes to graduation, the Bulldogs return a number of key players from last year including Brynley Fitzgerald and Helena product Sydney Sheridan.

Saturday's game will be streaming on line on the Bulldog Sports Network here: https://umwbulldogs.com/watch/?Live=76&type=Live
