Box Score ASHLAND, Ore. – The Carroll Women's Soccer team fell to Southern Oregon 3-1 on Saturday afternoon in Ashland.
Kody Clements started the scoring off in this one, finding the back of the net in the 10
th minute for her third goal of the season.
Southern Oregon got on the board for the first time in the 12
th minute. Kaya Baird scored on an assist from Baylee Touey.
Ruth Hegstad added a goal for the Raiders in the 14
th minute on an assist from Malaika Quigley to put them up 2-1. The score would stay that way going into the second half.
In the 62
nd minute, Malaika Quigley scored to extend the Raider lead to 3-1. Trinity Rhoads had the assist.
Southern Oregon held strong and kept the Saints from scoring the rest of the way to earn the victory.
The Raiders are now 7-3-1 this year and 5-1 in conference play.
The Saints drop to 5-5-1 overall on the year and 4-3-1 in Cascade Conference play. They will have next weekend off before heading to Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho for a big road trip on October 22 and 24.
