HELENA, Mont. -- Days after a big win over No. 20 Rocky Mountain College, the No. 17-ranked Carroll College Fighting Saints women's basketball team is back in action, hosting No. 22 and defending national champion Montana Western on Friday in the PE Center.

The Fighting Saints (12-5, 4-1 Frontier Conference) are on a five-game winning streak and will be looking to keep their foothold atop the conference standings. The Saints defeated fellow co-leader Rocky on Wednesday and will have a chance to stay on top of the Frontier with a win over Western (10-5, 3-1).

Carroll is led by Dani Wagner's 13.6 points per game, while Christine Denny adds in 10.5 and Sienna Swannack scores 9.5 per game. Carroll gets production from up and down its roster, as Wagner leads the team in scoring, Denny leads the team in rebounding (7.1) and Kamden Hilborn is the top assister (3.5).

Western has two players averaging over 10 points per game: Paige Holmes (10.5) and Gracey Meyer (10.1).

Last season, the Saints went 2-2 against the Bulldogs, memorably defeating UMW down in Dillon to claim the Frontier Conference Tournament title.

The game is set to tipoff at 5:30 p.m.

For those who cannot be in attendance, a live stream will be offered via the Carroll Athletics YouTube Page. Fans can also hear the game on Rewind 94.9, called by Carroll College Saints talent Daniel Salle and Hall of Fame coach Gary Turcott. The game can also be tracked via DakStats. See the links below.
