Carroll women's soccer hosts rival Rocky

HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College women's soccer team returns to the home pitch at Nelson Stadium this weekend as they face Rocky Mountain College on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

The Fighting Saints (8-5-2, 4-4-1 in Cascade Collegiate Conference) are riding a four-game win streak but face a talented squad in Rocky Mountain.

The Bears (9-3-1, 6-2-1 in CCC) are coming off two straight victories over College of Idaho and Providence and are in fourth place in the CCC. Rocky currently leads the CCC as a team in both shots per game and shots on goal per game.

Carroll finds themselves just inside the playoff cut, currently sitting in the seventh spot in the CCC standings. The Saints look to continue their strong combined effort on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball as they have outscored opponents 12-0 over the last four games.

Carroll women's soccer has two regular-season games left, both at Nelson Stadium. Come out and support the Saints as they continue to make a run for the Cascade Collegiate Conference playoffs. Kickoff on Sunday is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
