HELENA, Mont. -- Carroll College collected its first road win of the season, defeating Rocky Mountain College 51-17.

Kyle Pierce gave the Saints (4-3) a huge momentum booster before halftime.
The Saints started the game off with a 19-yard field goal before Rocky (4-4) took control.
The Battlin' Bears added scored two first-quarter touchdowns to hold a 14-3 lead after one.

Matthew Burgess got CC into the end zone with a 10-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and then quarterback
Devan Bridgewater added a one-yard run to give the Saints a 17-14 lead.
Then, it was Pierce's 42-yard hail mary catch that pushed the Saints up double digits.
In the third quarter, it was all Saints. Bridgewater ripped off a 54-yard run and then
Rex Irby recorded a pick-six to give the Saints a 38-14 lead late in the third quarter.
Burgess ripped off a 68-yard run to effectively seal the game.
Hunter Mecham was credited with a two-yard run to ice the game for the Saints.
The Saints picked off the Battlin' Bears three times.
Carroll outgained RMC 474-339 yards.
The road win bodes well the for Saints, who move on to a trip to Havre, Montana, next weekend to face Montana State-Northern (1-7).
