HELENA, Mont. -- Carroll College middle hitter Brielle Bumgarner was selected as an NAIA/AVCA honorable mention All-American. 

Bumgarner, a senior from Kalispell, Montana, was a force at the net for the Saints. She led the Frontier Conference in hitting percentage at .270 and was sixth in kills per set, scoring three a game. She ranked No. 3 in the FC in blocks per set with 1.1. 

She was named to the all-tournament team at the Aquinas-Cornerstone Classic in August and became a first team all-conference selection. 

Bumgarner helped the Saints to a 19-15 record this past season.
