Carroll College women's soccer falls for first time in CCC play

Box Score HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Saints women's soccer team fell behind in the 14th minute and never rallied, falling 2-0 to Northwest University on Friday in Kirkland, Washington. 

It was the Saints' (7-6-2, 6-1-2) first loss in the Cascade Collegiate Conference. 

Rylee Rassier scored off an assist from Jubilee Zevenbergen and Katie Michkiosky and then Northwest transferred that 1-0 lead into halftime. 

Whitney Weaver added another goal in the 47th minute off an assist from Rassier. 

Northwest outshot Carroll 16-6, including a 6-3 margin in shots on goal. Northwest earned four corner kicks while the Saints managed two. 

The Saints are back in action on Saturday against The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.
