HELENA, Mont. – Carroll College women's soccer hits the road for a pair of Cascade Conference games Friday and Saturday, beginning with Eastern Oregon Friday before playing Warner Pacific Saturday evening.
Carroll is 5-2-1 on the year and 1-0-1 in Cascade play but hasn't lost a game since Labor Day. Six Saints have multiple goals on the season, and
Payton Netz leads the team with three assists.
Devan Murfitt was twice named the Cascade Defensive Player of the Week. She has three shutouts on the year and a 1.010 goal against average.
The Saints first face EOU, The Mountaineers are 3-2-1 on the year, and 2-0 in Cascade play with wins over Northwest and Evergreen.
Natalie Mitchell leads the Mounties with a pair of goals on the year. Cyndi Cottrell had a .800 goal against average with a pair of shutouts.
Saturday, the Saints play at Warner Pacific who is now 3-3-1 overall and 1-0-1 in Cascade play. The Knights tied with Evergreen 1-1 before losing to Northwest 1-0.
Ashley Geisbers has a team-high five goals on the year, and Zoey Dahme has a pair of shutouts and a 2.180 goal against average.
Friday's game is slated for 4:30 MDT.
