HELENA, Mont. – Carroll College volleyball opens Frontier Conference action Thursday at home against Montana Tech before playing host to Lewis-Clark State Friday at the PE Center. 

The Saints enter the matches 7-8 but are coming off of a pair of sweeps last weekend. Rayna Pilgeram is the reigning Frontier Setter of the Week, and Holly Morehouse put a gem of a performance on the weekend, notching 21 kills with just two errors. 

The Saints are one of the best blocking teams in the country, with 140 total blocks on the season. 

No. 17 Montana Tech is 7-5 on the year but has lost three of their last four. The Diggers are one of the top serving teams in the NAIA with 105 aces on the year. 

The two teams played for the Frontier title in 2016 and both advanced to the NAIA National Championship in Iowa. 

Friday, the Saints play Lewis-Clarks State. The Warriors have won five of their last six matches after dropping their first five.
