HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll College women's basketball team will put the longest win-streak in the Frontier Conference on the line Tuesday when they host the 22nd-ranked University of Montana Western Bulldogs at the PE Center in Helena.
The Saints have won four of their last five games and three straight. Friday, Carroll knocked off No. 2 Lewis-Clark State, handing the Warriors their first loss on the season.
The Saints are now 6-6 in Frontier Conference play and 16-8 overall. During the last five games, Carroll opponents averaged under 50 points per game.
Cassidy Hashley leads the Saints with 14.79 points and 9.33 rebounds per game.
Bailey Pasta is second on the team with 10.7 PPG.
Tuesday's game marks the first game of the third round of the Frontier Conference round robin. Western defeated the Saints in both games by a combined three points, both on shots in the final seconds.
Anise Palmore leads UMW with 14.61 points per game and Britt Cooper leads the Bulldogs with 6.74 rebounds per game. Kaye Bignell is second on the team with 13.8 PPG.
The game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and it will be broadcast on 94.9 FM ESPN Montana radio. It will be live streamed via the Carroll youtube channel and live stats will be available via Dakstats.
