Saints Take on Montana Western in Final Road Game

HELENA, Mont. – The 20th ranked Carroll College women's basketball team will look to break out of a three-game slide Thursday when they travel to face Montana Western.
 
The Saints are coming off of a skid that included losses to No. 12 Lewis-Clark, No. 16 MSU-Northern and No. 23 UGF.
 
Montana Western is 13-15 overall and 3-13 in the season. The Saints won both previous meetings, winning 68-40 in Helena and 58-45 in Dillon.
 
Since the last meeting, the Bulldogs leading scorer and rebounder Molly Klinker was injured in a skiing accident and is out for the season. Aniese Palmore is the leading scorer among active players at 12.14 points per game. Kaye Bignell leads the team in rebounds with 5.15 rebounds per game.
 
Western has lost four-straight and is currently in last place in the Frontier standings.
 
Carroll is fourth in the conference with a 9-7 record, a game behind UGF and MSU-Northern who are tied for second.
 
The Saints are led by Cassidy Hashley with 12.46 points and 8.08 rebounds per game.
 
The game is the final regular-season road game of the year for the Saints. Carroll plays its final game of the season Saturday at the PE Center.
 
The Saint and Bulldogs meet at 5:30 p.m.
