HELENA, Mont. - The No. 13 Carroll College men's basketball team face Montana Tech Thursday and No. 3 Lewis-Clark State Friday at home.

The Saints are tied with Lewis-Clark for the top spot in the Frontier with a 10-2 record and have clinched at least a home game in the Frontier Conference. Carroll is coming off an 88-80 win over Rocky Mountain.
Match Burnham led the Saints to the win with 39 points and earned NAIA National Player of the Week honors for his efforts.

Zach Taylor paces the Carroll offense with 17.65 points and 4.95 assists per game and
Ryan Imhoff leads the Saints with 6.5 rebounds per game. Burnham has been hot of late, scoring over 20 points in five of the last seven games and averaging 20.57 points per game in that stretch.

Carroll is 2-0 over Montana Tech, they topped the Diggers 72-63 in Helena and won 83-77 in Butte.

The Diggers are 2-10 in frontier play and 7-17 overall. Tech earned a 62-53 home win over UGF Saturday in Butte to break a four-game slide.

Tech is a two-head beast, led by Jalen Coates and Paul Engstrom. Coates leads the Diggers with 17.75 points per game, while Engrstom has a team-high 7.33 rebounds to go along with his 13.88 points per game.

Tech currently sits in last place in the Frontier, a game behind UGF.

Lewis-Clark State is on the other side of the spectrum, the Warriors are 22-2 overall with both losses coming against Frontier teams.

The first loss of the season came at the hands of the Saints when Carroll went 20 of 22 from the field in the second half to earn the 96-70 blowout win in the PE Center. LCSC returned the favor in Lewiston to earn an 82-69 win.

The Warriors lead the NAIA in eight statistical categories and University of Montana transfer Jake Wiley leads LCSC with 14.52 points and 7.14 rebounds per game.

LCSC has won three-straight games after dropping their second loss on the season to Rocky Mountain 81-74 on Jan. 28.
