"It was a really great team effort tonight," head coach
Rachelle Sayers said. "Four players in double figures and one with nine is a great performance. We have some areas to clean up, but I love the resilience these guys show under pressure. Concordia is very athletic and just kept coming at us but it was a great first win against a NCAA DII team. We have a short turn around to get some things fixed but I trust that this young team will make the adjustments and run with them."
The Saints travel to Eugene, Ore., to face Northwest Christian tomorrow at 4 p.m. MDT. The Beacons are 3-2 on the season after falling to Pacific tonight.
