HELENA, Mont. – Nolan Saraceni racked up 273 yards rushing and four touchdowns rushing and also threw for a touchdown out of the wildcat to lead No. 12 Montana Tech to a 42-7 win over No. 18 Carroll College at Nelson Stadium Saturday.
The Saints struggled to find footing in any aspect of the game. The Carroll offense tallied 190 yards of offense while the Saints defense gave up 323 rushing to the Tech rushing attack dominated by a Wildcat offense.
Carroll's lone touchdown came on a 16-yard pass from
Mac Roche to
Stephen Delaney to cap an eight-play, 60-yard drive.
Conner Poulson led the Saints with 101 yards rushing on 15 carries.
The Saints gave up two interceptions, one returned for a Tech touchdown, and a fumble on the Carroll four-yard line.
Carroll closes out the home season Saturday at Nelson Stadium against MSU Northern.
