Quote from Coach Van Diest: “We moved Greg from strong safety to free safety and had a great spring. Two years ago he had a devastating knee injury and has come back from that. He has gotten his speed back and is back into form from before he got hurt and we look for Greg to be one of the great players in our secondary.”

2014: Appeared in 11 games as a defensive back… he had 40 total tackles… had one tackle for loss and one sack… had two interceptions and 10 pass deflections… talied a season-high six tackles against Southern Oregon in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Championship Series… earned Academic All-Conference honors.

2013: Did not play due to injury... named Academic All-Conference.

2012: Appeared in one game as a backup at safety... he recorded one tackle.

2011: Contributed on Scout Team.

2010: Redshirted and contributed on scout team.

High School: Greg was a three-year starter at defensive back and wide receiver at Chaparral High School... was named All-Conference in 2008 and 2009 and a team captain in 2009... lettered four years in track and field as a sprinter and was on the team’s relay team that qualified for State... member of the National Honor Society... weighted 4.3 GPA.
