HELENA, Mont. – T.J. Harris scored 24 points and Marcus Horn added 19 to lead the University of Great Falls to a 70-61 win over Carroll College Saturday evening at the PE Center.
After trailing the entire first half, the Saints battled back to take the lead early in the second half.
Great Falls never let the Saints get a lead larger than three and took the lead with 6:06 remaining in the game and never trailed again.
The Argos closed the game on an 8-2 run to earn the 70-61 victory.
UGF was 22-of-52 (42.3 percent) from the field and 10-of-20 (50 percent) from the three-point line.
The Saints were 20-of 51 (39.2 percent) but just 4-of-17 (23.5 percent) from distance.
Zach Taylor led the Saint with 14 points,
Oliver Carr had 12 and
Ryan Imhoff scored 11.
The Saints fall to 13-5 overall and 2-2 in Frontier Conference play.
The Argos are now 14-4 overall and 3-1 in Frontier action.
The Saints next travel to Lewiston, Idaho to take on the Lewis-Clark State Warriors.
LCS is 1-2 in conference but ranked 19th in the nation.
