HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference released the fourth edition of the 2025 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field weekly honors Tuesday. Carroll College distance runner
Zack Gacnik has been named Frontier Conference Track Athlete of the Week.
Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week: Zach Gacnik, Carroll College
Gacnik, a junior from Conifer, Colo., was chosen as the Track Athlete-of-the-Week.
Gacnik won the 10,000-meter run title at the Whitworth Peach meet in Spokane, Wash. last weekend, coming within one second of his personal record time for the Saints. He finished the race with a time of 30 minutes, 42.26 seconds, topping the 15 other entrants in the event.
His time is currently the sixth fastest in the NAIA 10,000-meter run as of Tuesday. He qualified for the national meet after recording the NAIA 'B' provisional qualifying time.
This is the first time in the Outdoor Track & Field season that Gacnik has earned the weekly honor.
