HELENA, Mont. - The 2025 regular season is officially complete, and for the third time in as many seasons, the Fighting Saints are headed to the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship.
The Saints (18-24, 12-15) finished the 2025 CCC slate in sixth place, picking up a pair of wins in the final week of the season over Providence to seal the deal on a return trip to the postseason.
The sixth place finish secured Carroll's third-straight trip to the CCC Championship, and for the third-straight season, they'll make the 830-mile trek to Klamath Falls, Ore. for the weekend tournament. No. 2 Oregon Tech earned the 2025 Conference title with a weekend sweep of No. 23 College of Idaho, grabbing the first auto-bid up for grabs in the league, and homefield advantage for the double-elimination conference championship.
No. 1 Southern Oregon finished 23-4 in conference play, an identical mark to the Owls, but Oregon Tech owned a tiebreaker with their 2-1 series victory earlier this season.
British Columbia locked up the fourth-seed for this weekend's championship. while No. 13 Eastern Oregon earned the three-seed with a 22-5 record.
Carroll will open up their tournament with a first round matchup with the third-seeded Mountaineers, and will have some confidence heading into the weekend. The Saitns took two of the three conference games against the Mountaineers earlier this month in La Grande, and will look to replicate the success this weekend in Klamath Falls.
The opening round game will take place at 12:30 p.m. (MDT) at John & Lois Stilwell Stadium on Friday afternoon.Â
The winner of the Carroll-EOU matchup will go on to play (2) Southern Oregon later that evening at 5:30 p.m., while the loser will enter an elimination game on Saturday morning at 10 a.m..
