LEWISTON, Idaho - The Carroll College Dance team wrapped up their inaugural competitive slate with an extremely tight loss against Lewis-Clark State in a dual this afternoon at the P1FCu Activity Center.
For the second-consecutive event, Carroll showed their continuous growth throughout their first season. The Fighting Saints posted a second-straight program record with a score of 74.6 on their routine, bettering their previous high by over a full point.
Carroll scored extremely high in the pom section of their routine, averaging a score of 8.75 out to ten from the judges.
Unfortunately for the Saints, their good day was just a fraction short of coming up with a second-consecutive win. Carroll was edged out by just .1 point, as the Warriors also scored a new program-best mark.
