HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Dance team won the 2025 Fighting Saints Classic, beating Lewis-Clark State in the dual meet held at the Carroll PE Center on Saturday.
Saturday was a day to remember for the Fighting Saints. For the first time in program history, the Dance team hosted an official NAIA competition on their home floor.Â
Once on the floor, the Saints took lessons learned from their previous two events, and put together the highest scoring performance in school history. Carroll won the event, the first win in program history, outscoring the Warriors with a routine score of 73.45. LC State scored 70.10 for their routine, a program best as well.
Following the routine, dancers from each team competed in a turns/leaps individual competition, with Carroll's
Abigail Brown (Olympia, Wash. / SR) winning the turns competition.
The Saints will now make a return trip to Lewiston, Idaho on March 8, finishing their season with a second dual against the Warriors.
