Gainesville, Fla. – Saints Track & Field wrapped up the National Meet with two more All-Americans at the US Marines NAIA Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday.

In the women's 600m, Madalen Shipman ran in the 2nd of 2 heats for the final. With only eight individuals qualifying for the final, Shipman had already solidified an All-American award with her personal record run on Friday. She ran confidently to another personal best, and her time of 1 minute 32.66 seconds earned her a 3rd Place finish.

For the men's 5000m, Zack Gacnik executed his plan to perfection. He hunted down the field over the second half of the race, running his fastest time ever (14:24.79) and placing 5th. The result gave him All-American status, his second of the 2024-2025 school year as he was also an All-American in cross country season.

"The races today wrapped up an incredible meet for our athletes," said Head Coach Harry Clark. "This gives us a lot of momentum going into outdoor and is going to have the rest of the team fired up," he added.

The Saints had a strong showing on the first two days of the meet as well. Weston Means won the National Championship in the High Jump. Both Tucker Monaco and Carson Krack earned All-American honors in the Heptathlon, placing 6th and 8th overall. Between the 4 individual placers on the men's side, the Saints scored 18 points, tying for 11th Place in the team race.

The Saints will regroup and get back to work in preparation for the Outdoor Track & Field season with meets picking up in late March.
