Men's Track and Field | 02/19/25 | 9:38 PM
Helena, Mont. – Carroll Track & Field heads to their final regular season indoor meet this Thursday at the Big Sky Tuner in Bozeman, Mont.
Only a small group of Saints will compete as the event is past the national qualifying deadline and most of the team is setting their sights on outdoor season. Thirteen men and nine women are entered in the meet.
Madalen Shipman will run a tuneup for the individual 600m competition at the NAIA Indoor National Championships, competing in the 400m. Jack Jensen (400m), Peter Rehberger (800m), and Wyatt Ehredt (Mile) will prep for the Distance Medley Relay at Nationals. Brynn Wandle - qualified in the Pole Vault - will also compete while the remainder of the National Qualifiers (Tucker Monaco - Heptathlon, Carson Krack - Heptathlon, Weston Means - High Jump, Zack Gacnik - 5000m, Brycen Gardner - Distance Medley Relay) will rest up for next week's championships.
Archie Lafurge and Garrett Schmill will debut for the 2025 season. Multiple distance runners (Oliver Morris, Luke Decker, Anna Terry, Erika Arthur, and Jenna Castro) will look to springboard into Outdoor with one last indoor opportunity in the 3000m. With the exception of Terry who focuses on the 10,000m in Outdoor, the runners will hope for a strong campaign in the 3000m Steeplechase this spring.
Field events begin at 1:45 pm and running events at 3:00 pm at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse at Montana State University.
