HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference has announced the fifth installment of the 2024-25 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field Athletes-of-the-Week. Carroll College High-Jumper Weston Means has been selected as the Frontier Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week.

Indoor Field Athlete-of-the-Week:  Weston Means, Carroll

Means, a sophomore from Billings, Mont., was selected as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week.

In an exciting competition with several early misses, Carroll's Means cleared the high jump with his personal best and school record with a 2.09 meters mark (6 feet, 10.25 inches).  He placed second overall in the event at Riverfront Invitational for the Saints as the lone NAIA competitor in the event.

The 2.09m jump by Means surpassed the previous school record of 2.08m (Daniel East), which had been untouched since 2014.

The leap moved Means into a tie for second in the NAIA men's indoor high jump as of Tuesday.
