KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the latest edition of the 2024-25 NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Carroll College moved up two positions from the previous poll, and now sits at No. 20 in the nation.

The Fighting Saints (13-7, 5-2) have broken inside the Top-20 in the NAIA WBB Coaches' Poll for the first time since the first official poll of the 2024-25 season on November 13 (No. 9.)

Carroll is the highest Frontier Conference team appearing in the poll, with only Providence (No. 25) inside the ranks and both Rocky Mountain College and Montana Tech appearing in the receiving votes category.

In total, the Carroll Women have appeared inside the Top-25 on every poll since December 5, 2018 (57 poll releases). Their active-ranked streak of 57 consecutive polls is third in the entire NAIA, trailing only Campbellsville (168), and Marian (94).

The Saints are the only team in the Top-25 with seven losses on their overall record, a testament to the respect garnered by the nation's coaches with Carroll's No. 10 strength of schedule.

A pair of games against teams just outside of the Top-25 are on deck for the Saints this week, as they host (RV) Montana Tech on Thursday evening at 5 p.m., before heading to Billings on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. for their second meeting with (RV) Rocky on the year.

Poll Methodology:

  • The poll is for publicity purposes only and has no weight or bearing in the selection process for national championship field consideration.
  • A panel of head coaches representing each conference and Continental Athletic Conference (Independents) voted on the poll.
  • The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter votes the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place, 28 for third-place and so on through the list.
  • The highest and lowest vote for each team (a non-vote is considered a low vote) is removed.
  • Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered "receiving votes".
