HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Basketball Teams have made the trek to the Hi-line for their first meetings with MSU-Northern this season, as the Women tip at 2 p.m. and the Men at 4 p.m. in the Armory Gymnasium.
For the first time in 2025, both the Carroll Men and Women enter a Saturday afternoon contest coming off of Frontier Wins in the Thursday games.
The Carroll Women reclaimed the top spot in the Frontier Conference standings with a 70-54 win over No. 20 Rocky on Thursday behind their best three-point shooting effort of the season (47.8 percent). Havre-native
Kyndall Keller (Havre, Mont. / R-SR) will return to her hometown coming off one of her best performances of the season, scoring 19 on Thursday.Â
They'll look to continue their good start to the league season, aiming to pick up their 17th straight victory over the Skylights dating back to 2020.
The Carroll Men shook up the Frontier table on Thursday night as well, earning their first league win of the season in convincing fashion over the previously unbeaten in conference play No.19 Bears.
The freshmen tandem of
Isaiah Crane (Portland, Ore. / R-FR) and
Isaac Round (Northampton, England / FR) combined for 45 points, leading Carroll to a momentum-building win.
With the exception of a Northern sweep in 2022-23, the Figthting Saints have enjoyed plenty of success in the series dating back to 2013. Since '13, Carroll has won 27 of the 35 total meetings between the two schools.
