Conlan Burk was hired as Carroll's Coordinator of Athletic Communications, Marketing, and In-Game Operations in July of 2022. Prior to his current role, he previously served in a part-time role as Carroll's Marketing and Game Operations Assistant in 2021-22.
In 2025 Burk was recognized with five different NAIA-SIDA Publications Contest Top-10 awards (Game Notes, Sport Posters, Splash Page, Infographics-Gameday), including a second-consecutive First Place honor in the Game Notes Category (Women's Basketball).
In 2024, Burk was named the Frontier Conference Sports Information Director of the Year, recognizing an individual who demonstrates excellence in all aspects of athletic communication including; social media, press releases, photography, statistical compilation, website updates, coordinating media personnel, graphic design, and promotion of the Frontier Conference and the NAIA.
In addition to the Frontier SID of the Year award, Burk garnered additional recognition for his publication work in 2023-34. His Football game notes were awarded "Best of NAIA" by College Sports Communicators in their annual Creative & Digital Design awards contest. Burk also received five separate Top-10 distinctions for publications by the NAIA-SIDA in several categories (Sport Posters, Infographics - Game Day, Game Notes). He was awarded both first and second place honors in the Game Notes category (Football, Women's Basketball).
Burk serves on the NAIA-SIDA Branding Committee, as well as the NAIA-SIDA Publications Contest Committee.
In 2023, Burk received sixth-place honors in the College Sports Communicators College Division Fall Game Day Graphics competition, as voted on by a special panel of the CSC membership.
Burk is responsible for covering all 17 Carroll varsity sports on a year-round basis. His multitude of roles includes head statistician and primary media contact for all varsity sports, public address announcer for several sports, live-stream production & broadcast coordinator, as well as game operations manager for every Carroll home athletic event. Additionally, Burk is responsible for the Fighting Saints brand, creating graphics, video content, publications and general promotion throughout the Carroll Athletics social media channels, various athletic facilities, and in the Helena community to help spotlight all 400-plus Carroll student-athletes.
Burk attended New Mexico State University, where he worked in the Athletic Marketing Department, as well as the Alumni Relations Department while studying Golf Management. While at NMSU, he spent four years as the beloved mascot 'Pistol Pete', winning a national championship at the USA Cheer & Dance mascot competition in 2014. Prior to his time at Carroll, Burk was a golf professional at various courses across New Mexico, Colorado, Oregon, and Montana.
He and his wife Katie ('13) reside in Helena, and have twin daughters, Alexis and Cecilia, as well as a son, Declan.
