HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Soccer teams are both back in action on Thursday night, with the Women taking on Black Hills State (S.D.) at a neutral site in Billings, while the Men host MSU Billings at 5 p.m. on their home turf.

The Carroll Women (1-0-1) continue to sit in the Receiving Votes portion of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Poll, and enter tonight's contest well-rested and ready to go.

For the the first time in program history, the Women will head into their game with an NAIA Player of the Week in net. Goalkeeper Maria Ackerman (Billings, Mont. / SO) was named the National Player of the Week following an impressive three-game stretch that saw her save nearly everything that came her way. The 2023 All-CCC keeper stopped shots at a 91 percent clip, and will look to continue her strong play this weekend in Billings.

Delaney Moczan (Las Vegas, Nev. / SO) also earned CCC Player of the Week honors alongside Ackerman following an outstanding opening week. Moczan recorded a pair of braces, leading the Fighting Saints in scoring (4 goals) on the year.

The Saints will square off with NCAA Division II foe Black Hills State for the second-straight year, with a pair of 1-0 wins over the Yellowjackets in their last two meetings, dating back to 2019.

The Women's match will be streamed HERE, and live stats can be followed HERE.

On the Men's side, the Saints will play host to the other Yellow Jackets, those from MSU Billings.

Carroll will be looking to rebound from a disappointing loss in their season opener to Whitworth (Wash.) on Saturday, and the team is ready for the challenge. Justus Herrmann (Weil am Rhein, Germany / FR) provided the lone birght spot for the Men on Saturday, netting his first career goal on a set piece from the corner in the 2-1 loss to the Pirates.

Last year, the Saints and 'Jackets played to a 1-1 draw in Billings. Carroll will look to pick up their first win over the NCAA Division II opponent since 2016 tonight in front of their home crowd.

The Carroll Men's match will be streamed free of charge on the VEO Live App. Saints fans simply need to download the VEO Live app, create a free user account, then search " Carroll College" to view all Saints home matches for the 2024 season.

Live stats for the Men can be found HERE.
