Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Carroll Men Remain Unbeaten in Conference, Shutout Warner Pacific

Portland, Ore. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team are riding a seven-game unbeaten streak after beating Warner Pacific 2-0 Saturday afternoon on the road.

The Fighting Saints now move to 4-0 in conference play this year, and more impressively, all four games were shutouts.

Felix Billard (Mallorco, Spain / SO), assisted by Alan Gutierrez (Reno, Nevada / FR) and Sam Loughton (Hull, England / SO), scored early in the game in the 16th minute.

The game got chippy with four cards being shown within 10 minutes of each other at the 52 minute mark.

Griffin Teuber (Boise, Idaho / SR) put the finishing touches on the afternoon with a goal in the 70th minute, he was assisted by Michal Mojzis (Bratislava, Slovakia / SR).

Noe Rodriguez recorded six saves for Warner Pacific. However, Juan Muniz Navarrette (Hermiston, Ore. / JR) was superior in goal recording yet another shutout for the Saints.

Billard, the NAIA Offensive Player of the Week has shown no signs of slowing down, adding a pair of goals on the road trip to bring his season total to seven (No. 2 in CCC).

The Carroll men hit the pitch again on Friday Oct. 4 against Corban University at home.
