HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team continued their tremendously hot start to the CCC regular season, blanking Corban 2-0 on Friday evening.

The Fighting Saints (6-1-2, 5-0) are flat-out on a heater right now, picking up their fifth-straight win to start CCC play over the Warriors (3-5-1, 2-1-1).

Right from the first touch, it was clear the Saints were ready to play. Just six minutes into the game Alfie Snow (Middlesbrough, England / JR) scored a beautiful one-touch finish off of a terrific assist from Alan Gutierrez (Reno, Nev. / FR) to give Carroll a quick 1-0 lead.

The pressure never wavered, but Carroll would not find a second goal in the opening frame, and the game would go to halftime at 1-0.

Heavy wind blew in smoke from surrounding fires, and an abbreviated halftime break would give Carroll just enough rest to get back to work.

Just two minutes into the second half, the two-time defending CCC Offensive Player of the Week Felix Billard (Mallorco, Spain / SO) would score another goal, extending his streak to five-straight games with a goal.

Juan Muniz Navarette (Hermiston, Ore. / SR) has not had much to do in net over the last five games, but the '23 All-CCC performer continues to impress when needed. His three saves were all that were needed, as the Saints have now posted five clean sheets in as many tries in league play.

In total, Carroll out-shot Corban 28-7 on the night, with half of those shots on goal.

A late-night tilt with Bushnell is on deck for the Saints tomorrow, as they cap a three-game day as part of the Grand Opening of Valley Bank Field at Nelson Stadium tomorrow at 8 p.m.
