HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference has announced the winners of its Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference weekly awards for week three of the 2024 cross-country season. Carroll's Zack Gacnik was named Frontier Conference Runner of the Week.

Men's Runner of the Week:  Zach Gacnik - JR - Conifer, Colo. Gacnik, a junior from Conifer, Colo., was selected as the Men's Runner of the Week.

Off to a tremendously strong start to the season, Gacnik captured the individual title in the Montana Invitational, pacing all 63 total runners, on the 8K racecourse.  He finished with a final time of 25 minutes, 23.8 seconds in the race.

This is Gacnik's second career Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player-of-the-Week award. He previously won the weekly honors following a strong showing at the Bobcat Twilight event in Carroll's first appearance of the season.

Gacnik and the rest of the Saints will have a week off before returning to the course next Friday at the Yellowjacket/Battlin' Bears Open in Billings, Mont.
