Helena, Mont. – Carroll College Cross Country will compete in Billings, Mont. on Friday morning at the Yellowjackets/Battlin' Bears Open.
Although the Saints will not send their full team to the meet, it does serve as the Frontier Conference Preview for this season. Teams from the western portion of the conference are expected, as well as Dickinson State University and NCAA DII programs MSU-Billings and University of Mary.
Carroll will travel 7 men and 10 women to Billings while the rest of the Saints will rest after a busy travel weekend to the competitive Charles Bowles Invitational last Saturday. Senior Luke Decker will debut for the Fall 2026 season.
"This is a great opportunity for our younger athletes to get experience on the course we'll run on for the Frontier Championships early next month," said Head Coach Shannon Flynn. "We believe we can still set goals to be competitive as a team, and since we're in the second half of our season we're also looking for individuals to capitalize on all the work they've put in this summer and fall."
The men's gun will go off at 11:00 am and the women's at 11:45 am on Friday at Amend Park in Billings.
