Brookings, S.D. – Three Fighting Saints will compete at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships at Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex on February 29 through March 2.

For the men, the only Carroll athlete qualified is Brycen Gardner who hit the NAIA B Standard in the 3000m. He is ranked 23rd of 35 entered competitors. The top three individuals from each of three heats and next three fastest times will make the final, with Gardner racing in Heat 3.

On the women's side, Chloe Gallagher (Pole Vault - A Standard) and Madalen Shipman (600m - B Standard) are qualified. Gallagher's best vault this season ties her for the 7th highest jump in the NAIA. For Shipman in the 600m, there will be three heats and the top two individuals from each heat and next two fastest times will make the final. She will compete in the first heat.

"We are in a great position for each of these athletes to have their best meet of the year," said Head Coach Harry Clark. "It is an awesome facility with a competitive atmosphere, so we're excited to see how we step up to that," he added.

12:45 pm Mountain 600 Semi-Final (Shipman)

2:00 pm Mountain Pole Vault (Gallagher)

3:15 pm Mountain 3000 Semi-Final (Gardner)

SATURDAY

12:25 pm Mountain 600 Final (Shipman)

2:00 pm Mountain 3000 Final (Gardner)
