HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team will take on fourth-seeded Eastern Oregon this afternoon at 3 p.m. in the 2024 Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship match at Wheeler Field in Medford, Ore.

2024 has been a magical season for the Fighting Saints (14-2-3), and the most successful team in program history now find themselves just one win away from both a CCC regular season title, and a tournament crown to go along with it. Standing in their way, the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers (10-3-4).

Carroll advanced to the title game on a solid all-around performance in a 2-1 semifinal win over Oregon Tech on Tuesday.

The Mounties reached the title game following a hard-fought overtime victory over the No. 3-seed Warner Pacific.

With Carroll having already received one of the two CCC automatic qualifying positions for winning the regular season crown, the Mountaineers have secured the second auto-bid, and both teams will go on to represent the league in the NAIA National Championship regardless of the outcome of today's game.

The two teams met at Community Stadium back in October, with neither side able to find a goal.

The tightly contested battle in the first meeting saw Carroll double the amount of shots over the Mounties, but nothing found net and the teams were forced to split the points.

The championship match will feature two of the best goal keepers in the conference, as Carroll keeper Juan Muniz Navarrete (Hermiston, Ore. / SR) and EOU keeper Anthony Lemus are both in the top-4 for goals against average (Muniz-Navarrete - .4, Lemus - 1.23).

First touch is scheduled for 3 p.m. (MST), and a free of charge live stream can be found HERE. Live stats for the championship match can be found HERE.
