HELENA, Mont. — The Carroll College Men's Soccer team dominated Bushnell, earning a 3-0 victory in a Cascade Collegiate Conference men's soccer match on Saturday night at Nelson Stadium.
For the first time-ever, a soccer match kicked-off fully under the lights at the newly-renovated Valley Bank Field at Nelson Stadium
Carroll's Felix Billard scored the game's first goal in the 41st minute, assisted by Alfie Snow, giving the Saints a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.
The Fighting Saints added two more goals in the second half, with Adam Webster finding the back of the net in the 61st minute, and Griffin Teuber closing the scoring in the 80th minute, assisted by Walker Jump and Billard.
Bushnell struggled to generate offense, managing only four shots on goal, all of which were saved by Carroll goalkeeper Juan Muniz Navarette, who earned the shutout. Carroll outshot Bushnell 21-7 and dominated possession throughout the game.
Bushnell rotated between goalkeepers, with William Haberfield and Jace Meyer combining for five saves.
The win improves Carroll to 7-1-2 overall and 6-0-0 in conference play, while Bushnell drops to 6-3-1 and 2-3-0 in conference.
