CALDWELL, Idaho - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team suffered a tough 3-2 defeat against the College of Idaho at Simplot Stadium on Friday night.

Carroll (7-3-2, 6-2-0) started strong, taking a 2-0 lead in the first half. Felix Billard (Mallorca Spain / SO) opened the scoring for the Saints in the 30th minute, netting his tenth goal of the season off a corner kick.

Just 12 minutes later, Justus Hermann added another goal to give the Saints a comfortable advantage heading into halftime, 2-0.

However, the Yotes (7-3-1, 5-3-0) mounted an impressive second-half comeback. Keidin Green sparked the rally with a goal in the 60th minute, cutting Carroll's lead to one.

Jorge Fernandez scored the equalizer in the 82nd minute, with an assist from Dani Alejos. Just seconds later, Pol Romero found the back of the net after a quick kick following a foul near midfield, scoring the game-winner in the 83rd minute to complete the comeback for College of Idaho.

Juan Muniz Navarette (Hermiston, Ore. / JR) recorded three saves in the match, while the Saints were unable to find the net in the second half despite a strong defensive effort. The Saints saw pair of yellow cards in the second half, contributing to the team's 12 total fouls.

A quick turnaround is in order for the Saints. They'll look to rebound tomorrow night against Eastern Oregon in the CCC Game of the Week.
