HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Soccer teams will play their final scheduled road games of the season this weekend, squaring off with Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech in a pair of critical late-season CCC matchups.

Friday afternoon, the Fighting Saints will play Southern Oregon in Ashland, before heading over the pass to take on Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls on Saturday.

The Carroll Women (7-3-3, 4-2-1) are currently third in the Cascade Collegiate Conference standings, trailing only College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon. A pair of wins this weekend in Oregon would all but lock them up for another trip to the CCC Postseason Championships, which will take place in Medford, Ore. next month.

The Saints lead the CCC in shots this season, averaging just over 20 shots per game. One reason is the outstanding striking ability of forward Delaney Moczan (Las Vegas, Nev. / SO), who currently leads the league in points (24) and goals (11). Emily Funseth (Great Fallls, Mont. / GR) is second in the league with five assists on the year, aiding the potent Carroll attack.

On the Men's side of the action, Carroll is currently second in the CCC standings. They'll get their shot at current No. 1 Southern Oregon this afternoon, in a true measuring stick of where the program stands.

The Saints surprised many last season, and dominated the early portion of their league slate this year. They suffered their first CCC loss of the year last Friday, squandering a two-goal lead in the second half to C of I, but will look to rebound in a big way this weekend.

The 1-2 matchup on Friday is certainly an important game, but the Saints will also be looking to grab some revenge against Oregon Tech on Saturday. The Owls ultimately ended the season for the Saints last year in the opening round of the CCC Championship, and few on the Carroll side have forgotten.
