LA GRANDE, Ore. - The Carroll Men's Soccer Team played Eastern Oregon to a 0-0 draw to cap their weekend on the road on Saturday night at Community Stadium.
The Fighting Saints (7-2-3, 6-1-1) managed to split the points with the Mountaineers on Saturday night, but weren't able to grab the bounce back win they were looking for following their lone CCC loss of the season.
The CCC Game of the Week was a tightly contested one, with neither team able to pull away.
Carroll out-shot the Mounties 8-4 in the match, but only managed to put two shots on goal in the scoreless 90 minute draw.
Goalkeeper Juan Muniz Navarette (Hermiston, Ore. / JR) added another clean sheet to his tally, only needed for one save on the evening.
Carroll will return to Helena with the Women's team briefly before turning right back around for another trip to Oregon next weekend. The Saints will play both Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech as part of their longest bus trip of the season.
