HELENA, Mont. – Head Coach Dan Pearson has officially announced the 2024 Carroll College Men's Basketball schedule as the team looks to return to the NAIA Men's Basketball Championship for the second consecutive season.

The Fighting Saints, for the third time in as many seasons, will have a different Head Coach on the sideline. Carroll Alumnus Dan Pearson was hired to take the reins in June, and the Saints are buzzing with excitement heading into a jam-packed '24-25 slate.

"This season will create a unique opportunity for the Men's Basketball team to give the Helena community an atypical amount of games here at the PE Center." said Pearson. " We have worked hard throughout this scheduling process to build a schedule that keeps our guys here at home, giving our community nine non-conference home games, alongside our seven Frontier home contests."

Carroll will officially kick things off with home tournament on November 1 and 2.

The annual Comfort Suites Classic will see the Saints host a pair of Cascade Collegiate Conference teams in Bushnell (Ore.) and Oregon Tech at the PE Center.

Keeping things rolling, Arizona Christian will be in Helena for a de-facto "Big Monday" game on November 4.

The following weekend, November 8 and 9, two more CCC schools will come to the Hilltop for the Delta Mariott Classic in Eastern Oregon and Southern Oregon.

Carroll will head 60 miles down I15 to Butte on November 15 and 16, where they will take on Lewis Clark State and Cal-Maritime.

The first true road game of the year for the Saints will come on November 22 as Carroll will take on the College of Idaho in Caldwell, the site of last year's NAIA National tournament opening round loss. They'll stick around one more day in Idaho for a showdown with Eastern Oregon on November 23 before a break in the action.

Future Frontier member Dickinson State will come to town on December 7, starting a month-long homestand ahead of conference play.

Carroll will host Northwest University the following weekend on December 14, and a pair of Canadian schools, Augustana and Keyano, on December 29 and 30 to wrap up a busy non-conference schedule.

A grueling Frontier Conference slate will start on Saturday, January 4, as the Saints host Providence. Starting in the 2025-26, the conference will welcome five additional schools as it absorbs the North Star, and the recent model of three head-to-head matchups with each conference member will be over.

As it stands for '24-25, however, Carroll will play each of the other five current Frontier members three times in a span of two months, sprinting towards tournament season. Seven of the 15 conference games will take place in Helena, (Providence - 1, Montana Western - 1, MSU-Northern - 1, Rocky - 2, Montana Tech - 2), while Carroll will have one additional road game as part of the unbalanced league schedule.

"…With a stated goal of engaging the community in our program's transition, we are thrilled to be able to release a schedule that gives Helena and the Carroll community so many opportunities to watch some great hoops."

The Men have officially begun practices, and will continue to be hard at work for the remainder of the month ahead of game one, one month from today against Bushnell.
