HELENA, Mont. – The Frontier Conference has announced the winners of its weekly individual awards. Carroll guard Andrew Cook has been named the Erck Hotels Men's Basketball Player of the Week. 

Cook is a six-foot, four-inch guard from Huntington Beach, California.

Cook had an outstanding week, averaging 23.5 points per game and shooting 60.0 percent from the field. He also averaged 3.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game in a pair of conference wins over Rocky Mountain and MSU-Northern. The two wins helped bump Carroll into a tie for first place in the Frontier Conference standings.

Last Thursday, Cook scored 17 points against Rocky Mountain College on Thursday in Billings, before going for a season-high 30 points on 10 of 14 shooting as Carroll defeated MSU-Northern at the PE Center to sweep the weekend. He made 10 of 14 shots and grabbed four rebounds against the Lights.

This is the first time Cook has been named Frontier Player of the Week this season, and the third time in the last two seasons that he has garnered the honor. 

Cook and the rest of the Fighting Saints are hard at work preparing for a Thursday night road battle at Montana Western in Dillon.
