Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Saints Stay Hot, Remain Unbeaten after 1-0 win

SALEM, Ore. - The Carroll College Women's Soccer team found their seventh win of the season in a 1-0 shutout over Corban (Ore.) on Saturday evening.

The Fighting Saints (7-0-2, 4-0-1) have simply refused to lose through the first nine games of their schedule, that trend continued with a 1-0 win over the Warriors (4-3-4, 2-1-2).

As has been the case with many of the Carroll games to this point in 2023, the game entered the halftime break tied at 0-0.

The Saints once again heavily out-shot their opponents, this time to the tune of 18-3. All it took was one of the 18 shots to find the back of the net to give Carroll the win.

Natalie Brown (Pasadena, Calif. / SR) was the Saint who accomplished that feat on Saturday. Brown was able to beat the Corban keeper to give Carroll the 1-0 lead in the 77th minute, and the Saints would hold on for the victory.

Carroll remains tied atop the CCC leader board, and will head back to Helena to prepare for both Eastern Oregon and the College of Idaho next weekend at Nelson Stadium.
