SALEM, Ore. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team couldn't quite pull out a win, having to settle for a 1-1 draw with Corban (Ore.) on Saturday afternoon.
The Fighting Saints (4-2-2, 4-1-1) capped off an unbeaten weekend, coming back to tie the Warriors (1-4-4, 1-2-2) in the late stages of Saturday's game.
On the second day of a back-to-back scenario, the Saints would find themselves in a hole heading into the half.
Elijah Gish put Corban ahead 1-0 with his goal in the 39th minute.
Carroll would play the majority of the second half trailing by one, until
Luke Rosenberger (Eau Claire, Wisc. / SR) netted his second goal of the season in the 87th minute to knot the score up at 1-1, where the game would finish.
Carroll outshot the Warriors 12-7 on the afternoon.
A long bus ride back to Helena awaits the Saints, before they host Eastern Oregon and the College of Idaho next weekend at Nelson Stadium.
