HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team will take on Bushnell University this afternoon in Eugene, Ore. at 1:30 p.m. in another CCC regular season matchup.
The Fighting Saints (3-2-1, 3-1) will look to get back to their winning ways this afternoon against the Beacons (4-1-2).
Carroll won their first three CCC contests of the season (Walla Walla, Rocky, Multnomah), but ran out of gas in their matchup with Warner Pacific, the team's fourth game in a span of eight days, and second-leg of a back-to-back scenario last week.
Luke Rosenberger (Eau Claire, Wisc. / SR), an honorable mention All-CCC performer in 2022, scored Carroll's lone goal in the loss to the Knights, and getting him involved in the attack has been a goal of the Carroll team in 2023.
Local talent, and team captain,
Caleb Hoxie (Helena, Mont. / SR) scored both goals in the Carroll victory over Multnomah last week, much to the delight of Saints fans and the team as a whole.
Bushnell enters today's game coming off of their lone loss on the season, falling 3-0 to Oregon Tech last weekend in Klamath Falls.Â
The Beacons have two players who have scored four goals each already on the year, with another sitting right behind them at three goals.
Carroll has been a good defensive team on the year, and will look to slow down the Beacon attack on Friday.
