HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Soccer teams will take to their home pitch this afternoon, both looking to stay undefeated in CCC play as they host Multnomah (Ore.) at Nelson Stadium.

The Carroll Men (2-1-1, 2-0) will look to keep their hot start to the CCC regular season rolling on Thursday, hosting a Multnomah team (2-4, 0-2) that is much improved from prior years.

The Lions enter the game off of a pair of CCC losses to Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon last week on the first weekend of league play. The two losses were narrow (0-2, 0-1) and the Lions were held scoreless in both.

Carroll, on the flip side, enter the second week of CCC play with a 2-0 conference record following wins at Walla Walla (Wash.) and Rocky. The Saints earned two clean sheets in the wins, and the offense finally caught up to the defensive efforts. Carroll scored five goals over the two games, after going scoreless in their first two countable contests of the year.

Michal Mojzis (Bratislava, Slovakia / JR) was named CCC Offensive Player of the week after scoring both of the game-winning goals in the pair of Carroll wins.

In the late game, the Carroll Women (4-0-1, 1-0) will look to maintain their unbeaten record not only in league play, but on the season as well. The Lions (3-4, 1-1), Thursday's opponent, come into the game having split their two CCC opening games last weekend. Multnomah beat Oregon Tech, 3-2, but fell 0-2 to Southern Oregon.

Emily Funseth posted the rarely seen hat trick for the Saints last weekend in Billings. Her three-goal performance lifted Carroll to a 3-1 win over Rocky to begin the Conference slate.

Like Mojzis on the Men's side, Funseth was recognized as the CCC Offensive Player of the Week for her outstanding performance against the Bears.

Through the early portion of the year, Carroll has proven time and time again to be the aggressor. The Saints are outscoring opponents 11-3 over the first five games, and will look to match the output at home on Thursday.

The Men's game this afternoon will kick-off at 2:00 p.m., and live stats can be found HERE.

The Women's match will take place 20 minutes after completion of the Men's game, and live stats can be found HERE.

Both games will be streamed via the VEO Live app, the new home for Carroll Soccer. Users will have to download the app, create a free account, and then search for Carroll College. One downloaded, viewers will be able to see all the Carroll Soccer games live, as well as replays of past games.

Following the completion of play, a new homecoming weekend tradition will take place in Downtown Helena. All 400 Carroll student-athletes will take place in the first annual Fighting Saints March, a stroll through the Helena Walking Mall - from the Borthers Tapworks to Sixth Avenue. Saints Fans are encouraged to head downtown, line the walking mall, and cheer on their Saints.
