HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College Men's Soccer team will look to open Cascade Collegiate Conference play on a high note on Friday, as they take on Walla Walla University in Washington at 3 p.m.

The Fighting Saints (0-1-1) enter the CCC regular season without many countable contests under their belt, but feel confident in their team heading into a Friday afternoon tilt with Walla Walla (0-1-0).

Carroll has played hard in the two official games they have played this season, playing sound defensively, and never letting the game get out of reach.

The only thing holding back the Carroll Men through the first two games has been their inability to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Juan Muniz Navarette (Hermiston, Ore. / SO) already has a CCC Defensive Player of the Week honor on the young season, and today Carroll will look to aid their keeper with some offensive firepower.

Head Coach Austin Shick, who took over the program in the Spring, is looking for his first win as the leader of the Saints, and will have a terrific opportunity to do so this afternoon.

Carroll has never lost to the Wolves. Dating back to 2014, the Saints are 9-0 in their games with Walla Walla, with the vast majority of those wins being lopsided on the scoreboard.
