HELENA, Mont. – Carroll College Volleyball Coach Moe Boyle has announced the addition of Payton Treadwell, a transfer Pin, to the Fighting Saints for the 2023 season.

Treadwell, originally from Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian, Idaho is a transfer from Ottawa University (Ariz.). The five-foot 11-inch hitter transfers to Carroll after just one season with the Spirit in Arizona.

The Sophomore appeared in every game for the Spirit in 2022, amassing a .123 hitting percentage and 90 kills on the year to go alongside 32.0 total blocks.

Treadwell posted a season-high of 15 kills in an early-season matchup with Carroll last August, but will now look to bolster a Saints rotation that lost four seniors.

Dating back to her time at Rocky Mountain High School, Treadwell was named an Honorable Mention West ADA selection.

"I chose Carroll because not only did I fall in love with the campus, but the community surrounding it." Said Treadwell. "I hope to bring positive energy and a hard work ethic to this team. I truly believe this is an amazing program that I can't wait to be a part of."

Treadwell and the rest of the Saints will report to campus at the beginning of August to begin Fall camp and prepare for the 2023 season.
