KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 2022-23 Women's Basketball All-America Teams. Jamie Pickens of Carroll College was named First Team All-American for her performance in the 2022-23 season.

Pickens (Helena, Mont. / SR) adds to her long list of accolades. The senior forward was named as a Frontier Conference Player of the Year, as well as being named First Team All-Frontier Conference.

Pickens averaged 17.6 points per game, and led the Frontier with 7.7 rebounds per game. Her 53.5 percent field goal percentage was good for fourth in the league.

This marks the third straight year that Pickens has been named on the full list of NAIA honors. She was named Honorable Mention All-American each of the last two seasons.

Pickens becomes the second student-athlete in program history to be named NAIA First Team All-American. She joins Hannah Dean (2018-19) as the only players with the distinction.

All of the selections are made by the All-America Committee and are comprised of first, second and third teams as well as honorable mention. There are 12 members on each of the first three All-America teams.
